I get a lot of positive feedback on my hair. To be honest, it’s pretty low maintenance and I usually almost always just air dry it. However, when I do take the time to style it, I usually add curls to get a fuller look. I’ve had a few curling irons and wands in my lifetime, and I’ve always just opted for the cheapest options. This summer, however, I decided I wanted to try and upgrade. I found that the heat features from the cheap options always became faulty, which made it take longer to style.
Therefore, I wanted something professional that could get the job done reliably, and even potentially eliminate a few minutes off my getting ready time. I googled several products with the intention of spending about $100, a little more or a little less. I chickened out and decided I would just go for the Sephora Collection Sculpt Curling Iron ($40). Although this was on the cheap end again, it did get decent reviews. So I went to Sephora at Mall of America in Minnesota with the intention of coming home with this $40 product. BUT, I didn’t.
Instead…I came home with the T3 Whirl Trio by T3 Micro…for a whopping $270! A sales associate had convinced me (of course!) to take her word for it. I asked Matt if this was even a sensible expense. He didn’t really say much so I just went with my gut. I had read reviews on it as well as watched some YouTube tutorials when I was doing my research, so I knew enough about the tool. And it was the BEST purchase of the summer!
The Whirl Trio is an exchangeable tool and comes with 3 different barrels that accomplish different styles. You get a travel case, a glove, and a heat pad as well.
I am obsessed with this. Period. The results have been amazing. My hair is voluminous and the curls hold for days. The tool is also super cute aesthetically being a white and rose gold. But most importantly, the Whirl Trio gets the job done reliably and quickly. I don’t regret this splurge one bit and highly recommend it.
